About

the developer's pretty face

My name is Janne. I was born in 1991 and I was playing games before I knew how to read. I’ve also been a hobby programmer from around 2005, and a professional one since 2013.

The first online multiplayer game I played was probably RuneScape Classic (2001) – the one that makes Old School RuneScape look like the new RuneScape. Soon after, I was introduced to Counter-Strike 1.5 (2002) and World of Warcraft (2004), which is how I got into programming: I discovered I could make changes to WoW by writing “addons” in a programming language called Lua.

When I play games with a mouse and keyboard, I like to keep my mouse sensitivity (and therefore, my aim) consistent between different games. However, not all games support the necessary fine-tuning that I look for so I use RawAccel, which works great.

The only trouble with RawAccel by itself is that you have to manually switch between settings, and that gets tedious fast. Which led to the creation of MoreAccel.

I occasionally stream on Twitch. You can find all my other contact details on my personal site.
